Link-Up is the Supplier Accreditation System used by the UK railway industry..
Without appropriate Link-Up Product Group approval it is not possible to provide goods and/or services directly for the UK railway networks. Therefore the role that Link-Up plays in respect of Supplier Accreditation is "Surveillance and Audit", particularly considering Network Rail's stringent assurance case compliance requirements.
There are three levels of Link-Up membership, Subscriber, Patron and Partner:
Subscribers Subscribers are all those businesses who provide goods and services to the UK rail market
Patrons Patrons are key rail companies with an ongoing requirement to manage their supply chain.
Partner Partner level is for the infrastructure and train operating companies, including Network Rail, Tube Lines and Metronet Rail. Partners establish Product Group scope and eligibility criteria.
Link-Up is administered by Achilles Information Ltd.
